Visible progress after 4 months. Uses incentives to motivate students. Young teacher but seems ok. Worth a try if you dont want to send to the big boys center which sometimes can be a hit or miss depending on the teacher itself. O'level is still 18 months away. Once the after o'level results are confirmed I will likely revise the rating.

I feel very blessed to have found Augustine's English tuition centre. The enrolment is fuss free. There is no deposit or complicated terms and conditions to confuse busy parents like me. My gal has been with this centre since P6 in 2019 till now. She is more than willing to travel from south all the way to the East to attend Augustine's English classes and without fail. She finds him very engaging and motivating enough to keep her interest in learning English going and to the extent that she fills up her bookshelf with English storybooks, using her own pocket money. She has smoothly progressed to sec 4 now, with consistent good score in English. If my gal manages to go to JC next year and if there is still English tuition class open for JC level, she will definitely continue her tuition in this centre! Keep going, Augustine!

We joined Augustine’s English Classes earlier this year, and the difference has been very clear. My child actually understands what he’s doing now — especially in comprehension and writing. The techniques are practical, not the usual “memorise this” style we’ve seen elsewhere.

My sons learnt memorisation techniques to help them overcome the common mistakes in MCQ, and an enriched vocabulary which helped them in essay writing. Besides teaching the subject, Augustine cares keenly about his students' wellbeing and will provide feedback to clarify out-of-norm behaviour that he observed in class. My boys enjoy going to his class (almost six years now) as he has a unique way to keep them engaged and motivated. I also appreciate that Augustine has been very accommodating when we have conflicts in schedules; he will work closely with us to make up for the missed lessons.
