What is the maximum intake for a class?
The maximum intake for a class ranges from 8 to 10, depending on the class’s proficiency level
What are the course fees?
Our course fees are as follows:
Primary (All Levels) – $75 per lesson*
Secondary (All Levels) – $90 per lesson*
Adv. Writing (Primary Levels) – $75 per lesson*
Adv. Writing (Secondary Levels) – $90 per lesson*
*Tuition fees are collected on a termly basis: One term = 10 – 13 weeks
What are the term dates for 2024?
Term 1 [13 Lessons] – 20 November 2023 to 18 February 2024
Term 2 [12 Lessons] – 19 February 2024 to 12 May 2024
Term 3 [11 Lessons] – 27 May 2024 to 11 August 2024
Term 4 [10 Lessons] – 12 August 2024 to 20 October 2024
Is there a free trial lesson?
Yes, we offer a free trial lesson for new students.
By joining one of our ongoing classes for this trial, your child can get a firsthand feel of our tutors’ teaching style and unique learning approach, all without any initial commitments.
Terms and Conditions FAQ
What if my child is unable to attend his scheduled lesson?
In the event that the Student fails to attend a class, Augustine’s English Classes may, at its sole discretion, allow the Student to makeup the missed lesson by attending another ongoing class during the same lesson week (i.e. from Monday to Friday), provided that:
• there is more than 1 class;
• there is a vacancy in the class that the Student intends to attend as the makeup class.
Can I get a refund if my child is unable to find a suitable replacement class?
In the event that it is not possible to arrange a suitable replacement class, the fees for the class shall not be refunded or pro-rated.
What if I wish to withdraw early?
If the Student wishes to withdraw, they have to serve a withdrawal notice of at least four lessons in advance before the last lesson of an academic term.
If the notice is given within this timeframe, lessons scheduled beyond the fourth week will be refunded.
Will there be any additional registration or material fees?
You will not be charged any additional registration or material fees. All materials will be provided by the centre.
Is there a deposit?
There is no deposit required.
